Worst 5 tornadoes in US history
As promised yesterday, more weather posts. This time I’ll break down the worst 5 trailer tossings in history.
5. Gainesville Tornado
Two massive tornadoes struck Gainesville and killed over 200 people. The tornado skyrocketed debris (letters) into the air and sent it from Gainsville, GA to Anderson, SC — about 200 miles away.
4. The Tupelo Tornado
Went through densely populated residential areas in Mississippi. Deathtoll is 233, but completely erased gene pools from existence by killing entire families in their home.
3. St. Louis Tornado
A tornado a mile-wide killed 137 people in St. Louis in 1896.
2. Natchez Tornado
This occured in Natchez, Mississippi, during times of slavery. While slave deaths weren’t counted, more than 100 people died on farms. A large number of deaths occured by debris, massive amounts of trees being catapulted into the air.
1. Tri-State Tornado
Missouri, Illinois, Indiana. It was a funnel 3/4 of a mile wid which killed hundreds of people. The tornado destroyed entire towns and killed everyone in them, completely wiping them off of the map.

this is unbeliveable!
