The Worst Daily.

In a continuation from my movie post yesterday, lets check out the word movie sequels ever made:

Number 5. Jaws: The Revenge.

Well, if it’s one of the worst movies ever made and it’s a sequel, then it has to be here. Same picture because I’m lazy — deal with it.

Number 4. Grease II
I hated the first Grease when everyone loved it. So, since everyone hated Grease II, it must REALLY be bad.

Number 3. Caddyshack II
This movie is a double bogey (ha, ha). The absence of Rodney Dangerfield and Bill Murray from this movie killed it.

Number 2. The Matrix Revolutions
It took 2 hours to do 3 things. Ridiculous, slow, tedious, drivel-filled sequel to one of the best movies ever made.

Number 1. Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2
Easily number 1 on the list. Remember the first Blair Witch? With the first installment of the Blair Witch, we were told it was a documentary video produced by a few college students who were covering the Blair Witch in the Northeast? It was poorly edited, poorly shot, etc — it looked realistic and the fear was intense, because it was supposedly real. At the end of the first Blair Witch movie, the college students are presumably killed and the video tape abruptly ends.

So, fast forward a few years — a sequel comes out that is professionally (and I use that term loosely) produced and follows a whole new set of people who are covering the tragic events of the first movie. Shit. Just shit.
